Position Overview As a Gelato Production Specialist , you will learn and master our award-winning gelato-making process while assisting with all aspects of daily production operations. This is not a casual kitchen job . Accuracy, cleanliness, consistency, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are essential to success in this role. We are seeking individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in producing high-quality products. Responsibilities Measure ingredients accurately and follow recipes exactly. Prepare gelato mixes and production batches according to established procedures. Learn and master Matty's award-winning gelato-making process. Operate production equipment safely and efficiently. Set up, prepare, and clean machines before and after production. Ensure equipment is properly sanitized and ready for use. Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness throughout the production area. Meet daily production goals and production quotas. Assist with ingredient preparation and inventory organization. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure consistency and quality. Someone Who :

Is dedicated, hardworking, and reliable. Takes pride in making people smile through great food. Is excited to learn the art and science of authentic gelato production. Is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Can think quickly and stay productive during busy periods. Is a team player who takes initiative and responsibility. Can accurately read, understand, and work with measurements and recipes. Is willing and able to operate, set up, and thoroughly clean production equipment. Can safely perform repetitive heavy lifting, including lifting base buckets weighing up to 50 pounds. Is eager to learn new skills and grow with the company. Is upbeat, motivated, and excited to become part of the Matty's family. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to stand and work on your feet for the duration of the shift. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to accurately measure ingredients and follow recipes. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Ability to work 30-40 hours per week. Availability to work morning and daytime shifts. Weekend and holiday availability may be required. Previous experience in food service, food production, bakeries, kitchens, or manufacturing environments is preferred, but not required. References are required.
