Job Description Responsibilities :
Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand and operational priorities. Coordinate with planning and other production departments to ensure workflow alignment. Train, mentor, and hold team members accountable for production performance and process compliance. Ensure production orders are accurately completed, confirmed, and documented within company systems. Monitor productivity metrics and provide coaching to improve efficiency and performance. Participate in interviewing and selection activities for production team members. Create and maintain work instructions, machine setup documentation, and training materials. Oversee quality control expectations and ensure compliance with established procedures and SOPs. Audit quality records, production confirmations, and work-in-progress documentation for accuracy. Ensure all work-in-progress materials are properly identified and traceable. Partner with leadership to plan and implement process improvement projects. Promote and maintain a safe working environment while supporting continuous safety improvements. The Successful Applicant Ideal Candidate:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or production experience. Minimum 4 years of supervisory or team leadership experience. Minimum 4 years of hands-on shop floor manufacturing experience. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, materials management, and manufacturing operations. Proven experience developing and implementing operational procedures and process improvements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities. Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Effective time management and organisational abilities. Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, and manufacturing software.
