3-Month Assignment

Johns Creek, GA
SCHEDULE
3PM-11:30PM / Weekdays with Occasional Saturday
OT PAY RANGE
$23.75/HR (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under supervisory direction, functions as a member of a production team whose goal is to assemble required components, operate equipment, inspect in-process devices and maintain the quality and integrity of the products at all times.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. 2. Follow and adhere to company policy and procedures. 3. Perform multiple operations of a more complex nature on a functional area, such as assembly, inspection of in-process units and assemblies; material documentation, handling, and control. 4. Demonstrate initiative. 5. Becomes trained on production tasks and maintains updated individual training records. 6. Demonstrate and applies a solid understanding of how to use measuring instruments. 7. Ability to use computers at a proficient level as needed, i.e., confirmations, issue materials, print labels. 8. Understand and apply Core 5 Metrics in relation to daily task. 9. Participates in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency. 10. Supports daily production execution by reviewing attendance, staffing coverage, and production priorities, communicating potential gaps or risks to supervisors. 11. Serves as a designated floor support resource by coordinating communication between product builders and supervisors to ensure alignment on priorities, expectations, and issue resolution. 12. Monitors production flow throughout the day, maintains hourly performance tracking, and communicates concerns impacting safety, quality, delivery, or productivity. 13. Reinforces compliance with quality system requirements, documentation standards, and approved procedures; escalates deviations and compliance concerns as appropriate. Supports safety initiatives by identifying workplace hazards, participating in safety audits and ergonomic assessments, and promoting safe work practices. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrates and has mastered all skills associated with Product Builder 3 role for a minimum of six month or has 4-6 years prior related experience. Demonstrates ability to be cross-trained and demonstrates good knowledge of component identification and documentation requirements. Must have good working knowledge of MP's and WI's in their training plans. 1-2 years Leadership experience required needed.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to get along with people and to be able to work in a team environment. Participates in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.. Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities. Overtime is required in this position. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and walk. Requires manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to use microscope and other hand-held tools as required. Requires use of fingers or hands to manipulate/assemble moderately to small size tools or objects. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles or toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be required to use protective clothing and safety equipment such as safety glasses and respirators, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The employee may be required to use a microscope during an entire shift.
Additional Job Specific Requirements:
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of product assembly, quality requirements, documentation practices, and manufacturing processes. Has successfully mastered all Product Builder III responsibilities and consistently demonstrates leadership through technical expertise, communication, training support, problem solving, and influence without direct authority. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities, support daily production execution, and effectively partner with supervisors and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
