We are looking for a Sales Specialist for Zone Americas. This position will be based in North America, preferred in USA at Alpharetta (greater Atlanta area). You'll make an impact by: 1. Market/customer engagement, opportunity mgmt. & deal support o Own the business and growth plans for your industry segment
  • Production Machinery Solutions for Printing and Converting OEM Machinery.
o Actively drive new technologies and DI AUT offerings into Sales organizations e.g. to Sales Acceleration and/or OEM Sales channels o Supporting Zone Americas LCB Sales organization with Printing and Converting OEM industry expertise in the bid process for major new projects o Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities and areas for portfolio growth/ expansion and align closely with Account Manager and Technical Sales o Provide (top
  • and bottom-line) input for new feature business cases and analyze business performance deriving impactful actions and segment-specific initiatives o Provide customers with end-to-end solutions ranging from automation and drive technology to digitalization offerings, and actively drive the introduction of new DI AUT products & innovations o Represent DI AUT to key regional market stakeholders in Zone Americas, e.
g. at trade fairs, conferences and associations, in social media as Technology and Thought Leader Ambassadors o Contribute to the definition and implementation of a segment-specific marketing and use-case strategy 2. Sales Enablement o Empower sales teams by providing key technical insights and sales narratives and having the domain technology expertise of your segment
  • OEM Printing and Converting Machinery.
o Define the business and sales strategy for your segment and passionately drive execution in close collaboration with sales organizations in Zone America Lead Countries (LCB). o Support LCB sales representatives to optimally develop key customers within your segment focus. o Orchestrate activities and strategies of international customers in close collaboration with the LCB Sales Acceleration & Channels. 3. Portfolio Expertise o Providing technical expertise on portfolio selection, supporting both internal sales teams and external customers. o Maintain a strong understanding of the international market and competitive landscape. Identify and interpret trends as well as market and business developments in your segment. 4. Post-Sales support & customer success o Facilitate smooth transition to service execution and solution delivery teams e.g., customer onboarding, adoption, and satisfaction to drive long-term customer retention and growth. 5. Customer & market feedback o Provide feedback to global portfolio development and application teams based on market requirements and customer insights. o Advocate for technology and service adoption at executive levels, supporting long-term business transformation initiatives o Roll-out focus initiatives You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of technical knowledge of SIEMENS Digital Industries automation & drives products or competitors corresponding products for Packaging OEM industries 5+ years working experience in Industrial Automation, especially in Automation, Drive Systems and Motion Control. 3+ years sales experience Good communication skills internally and externally Ability to successfully navigate and thrive in a matrixed organization Teamwork spirit. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • $156,794 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary.
The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
