Production Worker - Stamping Job Description Join a dynamic stamping plant where you will operate a stamping press to manufacture gutter parts. Safety is our top priority, and you will be responsible for ensuring that all processes are conducted safely and efficiently. Your role will involve checking parts for quality through visual inspection and measurements, closing boxes, adding shipping labels, and moving finished products using a pallet jack. Responsibilities Operate a stamping press to manufacture gutter parts. Perform visual inspections and measure parts with a tape measure to ensure quality. Close boxes, add shipping labels, and palletize finished products. Use a pallet jack to transport finished products to the warehouse. Understand the operation of RAM (pressure machine). Essential Skills Experience as a machine operator. Ability to use a tape measure for precise measurements. Mechanical aptitude and understanding of stamping and stamping press operations. Experience with lathe and mill. Production or warehouse experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with metal rolling and metal stamping. Ability to pass a basic math test. Work Environment Work in a clean and large industrial complex that is not climate controlled. The schedule is Monday to Thursday from 5 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. Occasionally, work may be required on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
