Production Worker Job Description Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Overtime required during peak seasons or periods of high workload

$18-19.00 per hour (Negotiable dependent on experience) Reports to:

Department Lead Key Role and Expectations:

This position supports the fabrication and manufacturing of custom sports facility products, including netting, padding, and windscreens. The Production Worker plays a key role in ensuring products are accurately measured, assembled, and prepared for shipment in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble custom sports facility products. Stretch and cut material to precise measurements. Safely operate equipment such as grommet machines, sewing machines (powering on/off, pedals, threading), hot knives, scissors, tape measures, and chalk lines. Identify and retrieve required materials; return unused rolls and supplies to storage. Fold, tie, and prepare finished products for transfer to the shipping department. Maintain a clean and safe work area by using PPE, following machine safety procedures, and reporting equipment failures or defects. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, depending on task assignments.

Required:

Ability to read and understand basic work orders and instructions. Physically capable of performing fabrication tasks (lifting and pulling up to 45 lbs., standing, bending, stretching, etc.). Comfortable working in warehouse conditions affected by outdoor weather and climate. Basic knowledge of measurements and math for accuracy in cutting and assembly. Strong attention to detail, including verifying measurements, color matches, and straight cuts. Reliability in following directions and collaborating with team members.
