Role:

The Sewing Operator is responsible for meeting or exceeding established quality and productivity standards for assigned production tasks. This role contributes to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while performing all duties required within the assigned department.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce specified products according to required specifications using proper sewing methods and techniques. Operate a single needle lockstitch machine safely and apply appropriate methods to ensure safe machine operation. Inspect work regularly to verify machines are functioning correctly and products meet quality specifications. Adhere to all company quality standards, policies, and procedures. Communicate with the supervisor as needed regarding production, equipment, or quality concerns. Maintain reliable attendance and ensure attendance points do not exceed those permitted under the company attendance policy. Demonstrate a positive attitude and high level of enthusiasm in daily work. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 3 years of industrial sewing experience in a textile manufacturing environment required. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable with physical tasks involving frequent bending, stooping, reaching, standing, prolonged sitting, repetitive motions, fine motor skills, twisting, turning, and hand-eye coordination. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team. Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment.
