Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Production Manager to join our manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will support the overall management of production operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality output while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will help optimize manufacturing processes, coordinate production planning, and uphold safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your mechanical knowledge and operational expertise will drive success. Essential Functions Organizes production output to meet customer and company goals. Maintain relations with internal customers. Follow management procedures in the production area. Supervise Production Supervisors, Generalist, and Specialist. Adequate leadership by hands-on management is provided to enable achievement of the Production goals of the Company, excellent personnel performance, and employee growth through significant coaching and skills development. Effectively uses people skills to lead, manage, coordinate, teach, correct, and to support the operating philosophy of the Company. Clearly articulate production activities. Ensures 3C5S is maintained on the plant floor. Works well with other people; appreciates the views of others; appreciates and supports the operating philosophy of the Company; routinely makes improvements in daily efforts, sustains an interest in self-development and in the development of subordinates. Maintain the flexibility of working on any shift as required. Responsible for mentoring new team members. Adhere to and administer company policies/procedures pertaining to their job. Actively seeks out areas for improvement and devises/aids in the development of counter measures. Responsible for maintaining and supporting ISO/TS16949 and has the responsibility to contact Team Leads and/or stop processes that could ship a non-conforming products. Responsible for maintaining and supporting ISO14001 and
ISO 45001
; the company's environmental, health, and safety risks of their job, and how their job affects the environment. Any and all other tasks assigned by management. Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement strategies. Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment, assembly lines, and plant operations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication skills for collaborating across departments and leading teams. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 4-6 Years of production management experience

$64,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
