Job Summary The Janitorial Associate will help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment throughout all office spaces, restrooms, locker rooms, break areas, and designated outdoor areas. This role includes general cleaning, disinfecting, trash removal, and maintaining cleanliness standards in common and work areas. Key Responsibilities Lobby / Office /
Conference Rooms:
Clean and monitor entrances for debris and fingerprints. Wipe glass doors, windows, and metal trim. Empty trash and replace liners; wipe trash cans. Dust desks, counters, shelves, chairs, phones, and surfaces (do not disturb papers). Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and mats. Disinfect and polish drinking fountains. Spot clean walls, doors, light switches, and interior glass. Perform high dusting and vent cleaning as scheduled. Restrooms /
Locker Rooms:
Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals, showers, and counters. Clean and polish mirrors and all stainless-steel fixtures. Refill soap, towel, and tissue dispensers. Sweep and mop floors with disinfectant. Empty trash and replace liners; wipe down trash cans. Dust partitions, lockers, and walls. Perform weekly and monthly deep cleaning as assigned. Break Areas /
Kitchenettes:
Clean and disinfect tables, counters, sinks, and appliances (including inside microwaves and refrigerators). Restock paper products and hand soap. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Wipe down coffee and water stations. Empty trash and replace liners. Clean vending machines and refrigerator tops as scheduled.
Outdoor Break Area:
Clean and monitor outdoor break and smoking areas for debris. Empty outdoor trash cans and replace liners. Sweep and maintain cleanliness of seating and surrounding areas. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred. Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and safety procedures. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Work Environment Indoor and outdoor cleaning in office and warehouse settings. Must be comfortable using cleaning supplies and equipment.
