This is a hands-on role that will be involved in many parts of our day-to-day operations, from making and preparing candles to packaging orders and helping customers. The ideal person enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in keeping a clean and organized workspace, has a strong attention to detail, and is comfortable jumping in wherever help is needed. Responsibilities Pour and assist with the production of candles according to Caramel Sundays' standards and procedures Prepare and wash/clean candle jars and other production materials Clean and maintain workspaces, equipment, and production areas Wick, label, and prepare candle vessels for production Inspect finished candles for quality and consistency Package and box finished candles for shipment or local orders Organize and shelve/store candles and inventory Help maintain accurate inventory and notify management when supplies are running low Prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup Assist with shipping and fulfillment as needed Provide friendly and professional customer service Respond to customer questions and assist with orders when needed Help keep the studio/warehouse organized, clean, and running efficiently Assist with other day-to-day tasks as needed to support the business What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and responsible Strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable lifting and moving boxes and inventory Able to follow detailed instructions and established procedures Organized and able to manage multiple tasks Takes pride in cleanliness and maintaining an organized workspace Friendly, positive, and professional Works well independently and as part of a small team Previous candle-making, production, fulfillment, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required A Great Fit for This Role We're looking for someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty and understands that working for a small, growing brand means everyone pitches in. Some days may involve pouring candles all day, while other days may focus on cleaning jars, fulfilling orders, organizing inventory, or helping customers. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and takes pride in the work they do.
Pay:
$15.00 - $22.00 per hour
