Job Description
WEAVER
- THOMASTON, GA Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find motivated and dependable Weavers in Thomaston, GA.
IN A WEAVER JOB YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Learn to operate and monitor industrial weaving equipment.
- Monitor machines and production to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Identify and correct basic production and quality issues.
- Follow safety and production procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Complete all required training and demonstrate proficiency on assigned equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Previous weaving or textile manufacturing experience is NOT required!
- Weaving or manufacturing experience is a huge plus and may qualify you for higher starting pay.
- Ability and willingness to learn industrial equipment and processes.
- Strong attendance and punctuality are required.
- No late arrivals or missed work during your first 90 days.
- Maximum of 3 attendance strikes within your first 90 days.
- Must pass a 7-year background check and drug screen.
- Updated resume required.
- Bilingual and Spanish-speaking candidates are welcomed and encouraged to apply!
- Steel-toe boots are not required.
- Comfortable work attire is permitted, including shorts.

TRAINING & SHIFT SCHEDULE
Everyone starts on 1st shift for training:- 1st
Shift:
8:00 AM- 4:00 PM After completing training, employees move to their assigned shift:
- 2nd
Shift:
4:00 PM- 12:00 AM
- 3rd
Shift:
12:00 AM- 8:00 AM Pay progression: First week of training is $14/hour. After graduating training, your base pay increases to $16
- 19/hour based on how well you perform during training, plus a $1/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
