Production Associate Job Description Join our team as a Production Associate, where you will operate machinery in the metal recycling process. This role involves handling scrap metal, ensuring efficient operation of equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Responsibilities Operate machinery used in the metal recycling process. Perform repetitive lifting of metal materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Transport scrap metal to designated recycling machines. Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Follow all safety protocols and company procedures. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Essential Skills Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Experience with machine operation in a production or manufacturing environment preferred. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to adhere to safety standards and procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with general production and general labor. Proficiency in machine operation. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions. The position operates on a shift schedule: Monday - Friday, with options for the 2nd shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. or the 3rd shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Valdosta, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $21.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
