Job Title:
General Production Operator $20-26/hour Job Description This role supports a high-volume blow mold production facility by operating and monitoring pre-form machines, labelers, and blow mold equipment. You ensure consistent product quality, smooth machine operation, and safe, efficient production throughout the shift. Responsibilities Monitor and operate pre-form machines, labelers, and blow mold machines to maintain steady and efficient production. Observe equipment performance throughout the shift and make basic adjustments to support safe and reliable operation. Support general production activities, including packaging, labeling, and material handling, to keep workflow moving smoothly. Perform visual inspections of products and components to identify defects, verify labeling, and ensure quality standards. Assist with set-up, changeovers, and basic machine operation tasks to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Essential Skills Previous production experience in a manufacturing or general production environment. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how machines operate and respond to basic issues. Ability to operate or learn to operate production machinery such as pre-form machines, labelers, and blow mold equipment. Comfort working in a hands-on role that includes general labor, machine operation, packaging, and inspection. Strong attention to detail to identify quality issues and ensure accurate labeling and packaging. Ability to follow established procedures, including good manufacturing practices (GMP), and adhere to safety standards. Capability to work a 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM schedule on a rotating pattern (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off). Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing or production setting. Forklift experience or certification for safe material handling. Experience with blow mold, filling machines, or fillers. Background in quality, inspection, or medical assembly environments. Familiarity with CNC equipment or other automated machinery. Comfort using hand tools and performing basic mechanical tasks. Experience working under GMP or other regulated manufacturing standards. Why Work Here? You interact regularly with production machinery such as pre-form machines, labelers, blow mold equipment, and potentially filling machines and forklifts, while following good manufacturing practices (GMP). The environment emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and teamwork, with a focus on consistent quality and efficient production. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out ofCOLUMBUS, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
