Job Title:
General Production Worker - $16.50/hr Job Description This role is an entry-level position to the manufacturing industry. You will load and unload machines, move metal parts throughout the plant, and perform quality checks to ensure precise and reliable automotive components. Responsibilities Load and unload die cast and related production machines safely and efficiently. Perform routine quality checks on metal parts to ensure they meet established specifications and standards. Move metal parts and materials throughout the production cell and plant using appropriate methods and equipment. Set up production machines according to work instructions and assist with basic repairs and troubleshooting. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial systems and machinery. Prior manufacturing work history in areas such as assembly, inspection, general labor, general production, or quality control. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in automotive manufacturing environments. Familiarity with production machinery in die cast, assembly, shipping and receiving, or steel processing departments. Experience with quality inspection tasks in a manufacturing environment. Experience in automotive manufacturing or machine operation is strongly preferred. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fredericktown, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
