Operator

Job Description Join our team as a Machine Operator on the night shift and play a key role in maintaining efficient, high‑quality production. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring assigned machines, minimizing scrap, verifying color concentration, and preparing equipment for product changeovers. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to troubleshoot equipment issues in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Minimize production scrap on assigned machines and verify correct color concentration Prepare for and monitor product changeovers, ensuring proper line clearance and verification Compare actual cycle times against established production standards Support packers during breaks and lunches by packing bottles as needed Verify proper operation of downstream production equipment Ensure production of high‑quality bottles during system restarts Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance on assigned equipment Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete minor mechanical repairs Accurately complete machine production line reports Identify and respond promptly to machine sounds, alarms, and operating issues Assist material operators with tasks as needed to maintain production flow Essential Skills Prior machine operating experience Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment Previous manufacturing or production experience Strong attention to detail Why Work Here? • 7:00 AM Attendance policy: No‑call/no‑show results in automatic termination; up to two call‑ins allowed per month Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bettendorf, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00
• $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
