Book Block Maker / Production Team Member Cedar Falls, IA 50613 From $17.75 an hour - Full-time From $17.75 an hour - Full-time McKenna, a locally owned and expanding photographic printing company, is hiring for a light manufacturing production position. We are looking for those with a keen eye for detail as they build top-of-the-line albums and other photographic products especially made for professional photographers. The Book Block Maker / Machine Operator is responsible for the production, finishing, and quality inspection of the inner book block component of our custom albums and related products. Employees in this role will also assist in other Albums department functions as necessary to meet production schedules. Operate and troubleshoot a mostly automated industrial book block making machine Perform album production and finishing tasks according to company quality standards and production requirements Feed, position, handle, and process album materials through production machinery and workstations Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship Maintain productivity and workflow efficiency within the department Rotate among assigned departmental duties as needed to support production demands Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines Maintain organized and clean work areas Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding workflow, production issues, and quality concerns Rorate to and back-up other production departments as needed

• Prior machine operation experience, which an aptitude for technical problem solving
• Enjoy being part of a fast-paced environment
• Be a reliable team player with a positive and professional attitude
• Highly detail oriented
• Strong math aptitude
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk around for at least 8 hours per day
• Meet attendance and scheduling requirements
• No previous experience necessary; we will train but experience in an assembly production environment a plus.
