Job Description

We are hiring manufacturing positions at our Fort Dodge, IA facility. This role starts at $24.77 per hour. (Pay rate increase opportunities within 4 weeks as operators train and develop new skills). Production Operator work in a fast-paced industrial environment that is transforming with technological advancements that make the work environment safer and more efficient. This role will perform various functions within the production department that may include operating controls, performing quality control checks and support the production team during a twelve-hour rotating shift.
Shift:
12-hour rotating shifts on days and nights with weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. What You Will Do- Ensure that machines are set up properly and performing optimally
- Troubleshoot and make machine adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve production and safety goals
- Clean equipment and work area regularly to ensure readiness, safety and reliability
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling as needed
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
- Work flexible starting times, rotating shifts, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed
- Communicate effectively in English through reading, written and verbal interactions What Will Put You Ahead
- One year or more of previous experience working in a production, warehouse, industrial, farming, construction, manufacturing or military environment
- Experience identifying, analyzing and troubleshooting quality issues .
