PURPOSE OF POSITION

Produce defined quantity of parts and components according to specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. More specifically, the person will: Press components into cans/rolls including but not limited to bearings, seals, and snap rings. Position components including but not limited to cans/rolls, bearings, shafts, seals, and pushnuts before assembling product. Stack components including but not limited to pushnuts and seals. Assemble and ensure parts and components are accurate according to specifications. Report material and/or paperwork errors to supervisor. Collect required data. Use and understand various paperwork, including but not limited to schedules, prints, and tech standards. Perform general housekeeping and maintenance on equipment. Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area. Regular, consistent attendance.

EDUCATION

• EXPERIENCE
• COMPUTER SKILLS High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY

The noise level in the work environment is LOUD. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include the ability to hear alarms of equipment, and the ability to hear instructions from others. Steel toe shoes, safety glasses, rubber gloves, grinding shield, hoist, and hearing protection required where posted.
