Job Description
Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Production Workers to join our dynamic team. The production worker is responsible for helping meet customer contract demands as assigned by their supervisor or the Business and Facilities Manager. This position is responsible for filling and delivering orders according to customer demands. This role requires a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate a forklift. Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Duties Perform work in assigned production area according to established procedures. Operate production equipment is a safe efficient manner according to established procedures. Assist with production needs in other areas as directed by supervisor. Interact respectfully with coworkers and work alongside them to achieve departmental objectives. Responsible for inventory control. Ability to drive a 3/4 ton truck along with pulling a trailer. Participate in Affordables or Becker Center meetings, and agency meetings. Ability to work independently without supervision. Carry out additional responsibilities as identified and assigned by the Business and Facilities Manager. Qualifications Manufacturing experience preferred. Willingness to work on all shifts, weekends and holidays if necessary. Must participate in staff development opportunities and maintain trainings required to fulfill position responsibilities. Willingness to participate in community activities to promote the mission of 43 North Iowa. Ability to anticipate problems and develop contingency plans to deal with them as well as evaluate and implement alternative courses of action. Ability to continue a course of action in the face of adversity. Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. on a regular basis. Must have a forklift driving certification. Must complete required trainings through Curries consisting of First Responder Training, Job Training, Inventory Control Training, and Incident Reporting etc. Must have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
