General Production Worker 1st Shift 1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm $17.50/hr may work overtime and Saturdays A cold Storage warehouse in Spencer, IA is looking for Production workers. The general production employee is responsible for the daily processing of products

Responsibilities:

Push beef from the assembly line in a box Lift the 60 lb box onto a pallet and repeat. Finalize, box, and wrap meat products (beef, pork, poultry) accurately on the production line Complete and apply packaging and shipping labels correctly for delivery Pre-stage packaging supplies and maintain a clean, safe production workspace

Requirements:

Exposures to temperature of an average of 28 to 28 degrees depending on the work assignment. Employee will encounter meat products including blood/fat pieces May work overtime and Saturday to complete work, as directed and authorized by management Requires the ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines. The employee may encounter wet floors and/or damp areas and encounter meat products including blood/fat pieces Follow all safety rules
