Under general supervision, you'll deploy to customer sites to install, start up, maintain, and repair complex tools that blend mechanics, electronics, software, and networking. How You'll Contribute Uptime champion: Perform contracted preventive maintenance and respond to unplanned events; change consumables; bring new systems online.
Root-cause resolver:
Leverage operation manuals, maintenance checklists, and protocols to diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems faults.
Downtime minimizer:
Choose cost-effective fixes and execute with precision to restore production quickly.
Trusted partner:
Serve as the customer's point of contact for technical and service queries; deliver clear updates and guidance on tool operation and upkeep.
Thorough documentarian:
Record PM tasks, downtime, issues, and labor; prepare reports supporting equipment moves and justification for on-site service.
Independent maintainer:
Carry out PM with little supervision; operate efficiently within customer maintenance/ticketing systems.
Parts strategist:
Identify, order, and expedite replacements; proactively inform customers and management when components must be replaced.
Coach and mentor:
Guide fellow field technicians and field service engineers; train Field Service Associates I-III.
Team contributor:
Assist with service center operations and support other customer sites as needed (non-essential responsibility).
Safety steward:
Complete Finesse training for accurate parts usage/transactions; follow EBARA's safety policies and required safety training; keep work areas clean and compliant with Ebara and customer safety rules. Education Associate of Science (Electronics) or completion of an accredited basic electronics program; equivalent experience considered. Experience & Knowledge Preferred 6-10 years in related roles within semiconductor, manufacturing, or similar industries. Hands-on mechanical competence and understanding of semiconductor and/or vacuum technology principles. Excellent customer relationship skills.
