About Naughty Fruit Naughty Fruit is a growing dried fruit company creating bold, flavor-forward snacks made with real ingredients. We are building a values-driven business focused on quality, community impact, and sustainable growth. We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and wants to grow with a small business. This role will support production, packaging, inventory, and shipping operations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, learning multiple aspects of food production, and helping build systems within a growing company. Position Summary The Production & Fulfillment Specialist supports the preparation, packaging, inventory management, and shipment of Naughty Fruit products. This position works directly with the founder and will play an important role in helping scale production while maintaining the quality standards our customers expect. As the company grows, there may be opportunities for advancement into Production Lead or Production Manager positions. Responsibilities Production Wash, prepare, and cut fruit according to production standards Operate food dehydration equipment Monitor drying processes and production batches Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards Assist with inventory organization Packaging & Fulfillment Package finished products according to quality standards Apply labels and verify packaging accuracy Prepare customer and wholesale orders Ship online and subscription orders Maintain shipping supplies and packaging inventory Quality Control Inspect products for consistency and quality Follow production and packaging SOPs Report production issues or quality concerns Assist in maintaining food safety procedures Operations Support Track inventory levels Assist with production scheduling Support farmers markets, events, or special projects as needed Contribute ideas for improving efficiency and organization Qualifications Required Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently Dependable and punctual Preferred Food production experience Commercial kitchen experience Inventory management experience Shipping and fulfillment experience Experience working in a startup or small business environment What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Self-motivated Organized Consistent Quality-focused Comfortable with repetitive tasks Excited about helping a growing business succeed Interested in learning operations and production management We value attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn as much as prior experience.
