Full Job Description Production Worker Job Type:

Full Time Shift:

First Shift Steel service center in Cicero Il. Is looking for production workers on First Shift.

Production responsibilities may include:

Machine helper, crane operator, tooling set up, banding steel, forklift operator, shippping, Machine operator steel slitting, Slitter Helper Preferred experience, skills and abilities: A strong work ethic, reliable attendance and a commitment to safety Experience in a production environment, preferably steel processing, is preferred. Ability to read tape measure, caliper and micrometer for measuring steel. Ability to work overtime when scheduled. Experience with overhead crane is helpful. Entry level computer skills Experience with Bill of Ladings, communication with trucking companies, calling and scheduling trucks

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours. Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally throughout the shift. Ability to push, pull, bend and stoop.
