Production Associate

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Our packaging line consists of three key roles: Filler, Quality Control (QC), and Boxer . Each role is essential to ensure efficient production and product quality. All team members must be able to operate pallet jacks and pull loads up to 400 pounds. Essential Duties

• Set up and inspect equipment prior to operation.
• Use a dolly to move products around the warehouse.
• Apply labels to various bags and containers.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Depending on business needs, assist in other departments such as shipping, milling, seed mixing, receiving, etc.
• Containerize various finished products into bags, boxes, tubs, and other containers.
• Sort, organize, repack, palletize, track, weigh, and break down products.
• Perform repetitive tasks efficiently on a production line.
• Follow verbal and written instructions from the Line Lead and Management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the production/work area before the end of the shift.
• Complete other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds (Filler, QC) and up to 50 pounds (Boxer).
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to climb stairs (Filler).
• Must be able to operate pallet jacks and pull loads up to 400 pounds.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school or equivalent required
• Punctuality and a professional, can-do attitude are a must
• Forklift experience required. We will provide forklift certification
• Previous experience in a warehouse/production environment is a plus
• Must be able to work overtime hours as needed
• Must be able to stand on your feet for up to 10 hours per day. Breaks provided
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Must possess attentiveness to details
• Must demonstrate proficient time management skills
• Previous line work experience
• Must be able to work in both warm and cold climates

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role operates in a manufacturing facility environment and may require working in conditions with dust, noise, temperature fluctuations, and active machinery.
