Job Description

About the Role As a Production Packaging Specialist, you will oversee the final stage of our agricultural product lifecycle by managing automated filling systems and ensuring high-quality output. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and product integrity through precise equipment monitoring and technical troubleshooting. Responsibilities Manage automated bagging machinery to ensure consistent throughput and accurate product weight. Perform real-time quality inspections to verify labeling accuracy and seal integrity before shipment. Utilize HMI and computer-based control systems to optimize line performance and minimize downtime. Execute proactive equipment maintenance and clear mechanical obstructions to sustain continuous production flow. Maintain a high standard of workplace safety and sanitation, adhering to all environmental and PPE protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall facility output goals and seasonal production demands. Handle materials and finished goods weighing up to 60 lbs throughout the shift. Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated experience operating automated machinery or industrial packaging equipment. Proficiency with basic computer interfaces and digital control panels. Physical capability to perform repetitive lifting of 60 lbs in a production environment. Strong commitment to safety standards and reliable attendance. Preferred Skills Prior experience in seed conditioning or agricultural production environments. Technical aptitude for troubleshooting mechanical or software-related line issues. Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling during peak seasonal operations.
