Job Description

Job Summary Skyline Provisions, Inc., a premium USDA meat purveyor located in Harvey, IL is looking for a reliable and detailed-oriented Production Worker. The Production Worker is responsible for operating equipment in a production environment and preparing items for distribution. This involves assembling and checking products, ensuring all machinery runs smoothly, and assisting in the packaging and shipment of product. Responsibilities Weighing and cutting meat to meet the client's specifications. Wrapping and packing meat products according to company guidelines. Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements. Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space Reports all production waste to Production Lead or Supervisor Responsible for safety and quality throughout production Responsible for notifying a Production Lead or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained Qualifications Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred but not required; training will be provided Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly line processes is a plus Experience operating forklifts, hand tools, and power tools is highly desirable Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory management is advantageous Reliable team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
