The objective of this role is to produce roll to roll printed material with the highest degree of quality, as directed each day by production leaders. Wage starting at $26/hr.
Essential Duties and Tasks:
Communicate with Press Operator from previous shift, if any, regarding status of press operations Prepares press and all job components for print job, such as anilox, ink, film, etc. Performs preventative maintenance tasks on machine and troubleshoots problems as needed, with assistance from Supervisor. Set Impression, evaluate quality of print, execute recommended corrections. Checks ink color and placement on film then adjusts and fine tunes anilox rolls and plates to ensure job is printing according to specifications. Checks UPC codes, ensuring they are scannable. Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements. Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards. Working Conditions This job operates in a manufacturing environment. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and occasionally lift office products up to 50 pounds. This position may have minimal exposure to hazards such as dust, high noise levels, solvent fumes and medium heat on the production floor. Able to lift up to 50 pounds with no assistance. Able to stand for shift in safety shoes. Able to grip with one or both hands. Flexibility in working hours.
