Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will be trained to perform electronic assembly of switches for various sectors including military, government, agriculture, and healthcare. This role requires working with small parts and using hand tools to build component parts, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform electronic assembly of switches for various sectors. Handle small parts with good hand/eye dexterity. Use hand tools to build different component parts. Gather necessary materials for assembly. Place components onto PC boards with precision. Work at an individual station, standing or sitting throughout the day. Pay close attention to detail to ensure quality assembly. Essential Skills Experience with electronic assembly and small/precision hand tools. Good hand/eye dexterity for handling small parts. Ability to work independently at a station. Willingness to work overtime as required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Solder certification is a plus. Experience with pick and place will adjust pay rate. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is laid-back but results-oriented, with the expectation that employees know their tasks and perform them efficiently. You will work in a manufacturing environment with long rows and multiple workstations. Temperature checks are conducted at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure a safe working environment. First shift operates from 6am to 2:30pm, with the possibility of starting at 5:30am, and second shift runs from 3:45pm to 12:15am. Employees should be prepared for 50-60 hour work weeks with daily overtime. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Grange, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
