Job Description

As a SAI Production Associate, based out of our Lake Villa, IL location, your primary responsibility will be to process the production orders as assigned by the Production Supervisor, providing reliable, efficient, accurate product fabrication. Main focus includes attention to detail for all products being produced/handled, cleanliness, and following SOPs/Policies. Previous experience working with small hand tools or small parts, along with good manual dexterity is required to be successful, as you will be working with very small tools, adhesives, and various tubing. Candidates must have exceptional hand/eye coordination and be able to do fine detailed work with very small parts and tools to be successful. Expertise in following written and verbal instructions in English is required, along with being able to follow diagrams and drawings. Pay is based on experience.
Summary of what job entails:
1. Responsible for following all instructions completely and accurately while performing processes that include: Preparing material, fabricating/assembling product, quality testing, inspection of product, product labeling, packaging, product/record keeping, counting and organizing parts and/or finished product 2. Perform processes involving production devices and machinery e.g. belt sealer, glue machine, suture station, microscope, etc. 3. Ensures a high degree of detail and focus on every task. 4. Communicates with team members and Supervisors as needed. 5. Brings issues and/or potential issues to Supervisor(s) in a timely matter. 6. Informs management of any issues that might affect company, reputation or sales. 7. Conducts inspections to ensure accuracy and completeness of product order prior to shipping as assigned by Supervisor. 8. Accurately counts and documents inventory and notifies Supervisors/Managers if inventory is running low. 9. Notify Supervisor/Managers of any material that is not up to quality standards immediately. 10. Perform routine cleaning tasks based on a schedule per SOPs/Policies, and directives.
Qualification and Skills:
1. Ability to work with fine tools, i.e.; tweezers, cutting blades. 2. Ability to follow schedules. 3. Good organizational skills, problem solving, and accountability. 4. Meticulous attention to detail. 5. Familiarity with safety regarding work duties. 6. Basic math skills. 7. Must possess a positive and professional attitude. 8. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. 9. Reliable and timely for work shifts, and able to work additional hours as needed. 10. Be willing to be a team player, but also be able to work quietly on own. 11. Adequate use of verbal and written English communication skills required. 12. Good eyesight. 13. Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
