Production Associate

Overview:

We are currently hiring for a leading manufacturing facility in the Peru, IL area seeking motivated and reliable Production Associates. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity , offering the chance to be brought on permanently based on performance, attendance, and overall fit. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality building materials in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor industrial machinery used in the production process Assist in converting raw materials into finished products Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate safety, quality, or mechanical concerns to leadership Support general production duties including material handling and machine cleaning Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred (entry-level candidates will be considered) Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed Willingness to learn and grow within a production environment

Pay:

$16.50 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
