Now Hiring:
Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Shift:
1st Shift | 2:00 PM - 10:30
PM Status:
Full-Time (Overtime as required)
Location:
Romeoville Position Summary:
The Sewing Machine Operator is a key member of our production team, responsible for operating industrial sewing machines and CNC cutting equipment to manufacture high-quality parts. This role combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, including ERP systems and RF Scanners to ensure efficient and accurate production.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Operation:
Expertly operate industrial sewing machines and CNC cutting machines to produce parts according to specifications.
Inventory & Logistics:
Manage raw materials and finished goods using an ERP system to create labels and an RF Scanner to ensure accurate inventory placement.
Quality Assurance:
Perform detailed inspections of all finished products to ensure they meet company standards; immediately report any defects to the Production Lead or Quality Department.
Material Handling:
Lift and transfer raw materials and packaged goods between conveyors, worktables, and machines.
Packing & Organization:
Clean, label, and pack finished products while maintaining a clean and orderly workstation.
Training & Mentorship:
Lead by example by training new and existing team members on production functions, sharing best practices to improve team efficiency. Requirements for

Communication:
Clearly communicate with supervisors and team members regarding equipment, materials, or production issues.
Technical Aptitude:
Ability to accurately complete all required job paperwork and navigate basic software/ERP systems.
Reliability:
Maintain a consistent full-time schedule and the flexibility to work overtime as business demands.
Teamwork:
A strong work ethic with a willingness to perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
Safety & Compliance:
Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and emergency protocols for each machine. Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
