Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial painting. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. Duties Mixes and sprays liquid paints properly. Stores all paint components according to OSHA regulations. Reads work order or receives instructions from supervisor regarding painting. Stirs or shakes coating liquid and thinner to mix solution to specified consistency. Pours solution into airbrush container, couples airbrush to air hose, and starts compressor or opens valve on compressed air line. Turns adjusting sleeve on nozzle of airbrush to regulate spray pattern to size of work piece or area to be sprayed. Presses button on airbrush to spray coating over work piece, or to spray specified designs and decorations on work piece. Cleans airbrush nozzle and hose with solvent. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is essential. Strong knowledge of color theory and its application in various settings. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on delivering high-quality workmanship.
