Flexo Printing Plate Maker Location:

United Engravers - Schaumburg, IL About Us United Engravers is a long-standing manufacturer of flexographic printing plates for the corrugated packaging industry. We support customers across food, beverage, CPG, and industrial markets, with a focus on quality, consistency, and dependable turnaround times. Position Overview We are seeking a Flexo Printing Plate Maker to join our production team. This is a hands-on manufacturing role focused on producing high-quality printing plates using both liquid and sheet photopolymer processes. Candidates with prior flexo or platemaking experience are encouraged to apply. We are also open to training motivated individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities Produce sheet and liquid flexographic plates to production specifications Operate and monitor platemaking equipment Follow daily production schedules and meet deadlines Inspect plates for quality and accuracy before release Assist with material handling, setup, and general production tasks Maintain a clean and organized work area Support team members and communicate production status as needed Qualifications Experience in flexographic platemaking or printing is preferred, but not required Manufacturing or production experience is a plus Willingness to learn and be trained on platemaking processes and equipment Strong attention to detail and quality standards Basic computer skills for equipment operation Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with minimal supervision Reliable, consistent work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Ability to stand for extended periods
