Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker where you will operate within your own work cell on a production line. Responsibilities include pouring lubrication liquid into bottles, capping, sealing, labeling, and inspecting glass bottles. You will also handle boxing, wrapping, and packing of merchandise with care, as all products are FDA regulated. Additionally, you will manage packaging, labeling, and stacking of boxes near the shipping area, and document any quality issues or shipment delays as needed. Responsibilities Pour lubrication liquid into bottles. Cap, seal, and label glass bottles. Inspect bottles for quality assurance. Box, wrap, and pack merchandise carefully. Manage packaging, labeling, and stacking of boxes. Document quality issues or shipment delays. Operate various stations on the production line. Essential Skills 1 year of manufacturing experience in production line work, packing, or button pushing. Comfortable with repetitive tasks. Ability to lift 20 lbs sporadically throughout the day. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year of GMP medical or foods experience. Quality inspection and documentation experience. Forklift experience to assist the shipping team. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Skokie, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
