Production Cell Support Specialist- 1st Shift

Duties /

Responsibilities:

Accountable for maintaining preparedness and cleanliness of assigned work cell areas Perform cleaning and job changeover for assigned work cell areas including cleaning the press, cleaning and putting away equipment, and returning unused or regrind materials to correct locations Perform stocking of equipment and materials for assigned work cell areas during setup for each job Perform setup of auxiliary production equipment Assist with raw materials inventory reconciliation Perform end of job run product scanning and move to warehouse staging Maintain work cell area and raw materials cleanliness standards Perform Production Operator duties during operator break periods Assist with setup, startup, and changeover Interface with production, materials, and quality teams Demonstrate P&P Core Values Demonstrate Safe and On-Time work ethic Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Experience working in a manufacturing environment Experience working in a Lean facility preferred Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow written work instructions and production schedules Demonstrated competency in basic math Demonstrated basic ability with Microsoft Office Products and ERP systems Demonstrated ability to maintain open communications and tenacious follow up Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Licensed Fork Truck Operator Preferred Ability to sit, stand for extended periods, bend and twist, lift up to 55 lbs, climb, travel throughout the facility, and differentiate between all colors To review benefits information, please refer to The Benefits of Working at P&P Jumpstart Your Manufacturing Career - Careers | P&P Industries
