Job Description:
Role Description The Production Control Planner is to accommodate customers by scheduling work in a timely fashion and to monitor work and progress throughout the plant. This is a full-time, on-site role located in South Elgin, IL with a salary range of $25 - $30 per hour . Role Responsibilities 1. Plan and schedule production orders and communicate lead times internally and with customers. 2. Ensure order accuracy and on time delivery. 3. Maintain established stock levels. Monitor and communicate necessary changes. 4. Assist in training and developing production control associates. 5. Provide timely and accurate information internally and with customers. 6. Follow up on orders status with department supervisors. 7. Plan shipments and schedule with shipping manager. 8. Follow all company quality and safety policies. 9. Any other requirements as assigned by production manager. 10. Comply with the organization's Safety Policy and all other safety and health practices, programs, and procedures. 11. Participate in the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS)by reporting incidents or near misses, reporting problems and recommending improvements, and other related activities. 12. Successfully complete required health & safety and OHSMS training. 13. Stop work immediately if you consider conditions or work methods to be unsafe and notify your Supervisor of the problem.
