Full Job Description Description:
Position Summary HYPTE Branded Solutions is seeking an experienced Digital Print Production Specialist to operate commercial digital printing equipment and complete the finishing and packaging of printed jobs. This mid-level position requires practical experience running digital print jobs on Konica Minolta production printers or comparable commercial equipment commonly used in professional print centers. The successful candidate will be comfortable preparing jobs, selecting machine settings, monitoring print quality, performing routine operator maintenance, and completing work through the finishing process.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday , Full-Time ( 8 hour shift with required 30 minute break )
Rate:
$20-$22 per hour What You'll Do Set up, operate, and monitor Konica Minolta digital production printers. Review work orders, digital files, proofs, paper specifications, quantities, and finishing instructions before production. Load the correct paper stock and select appropriate printer settings for each job. Produce color and black-and-white print jobs accurately and efficiently. Monitor color consistency, registration, image placement, paper feeding, and overall print quality. Identify and correct common production issues, including paper jams, misfeeds, streaking, registration problems, and basic color-quality concerns. Perform routine operator maintenance, cleaning, and calibration according to established procedures. Track job progress, material usage, spoilage, and completed quantities. Cut, sort, collate, fold, assemble, package, and label finished materials. Conduct final quality-control inspections before jobs are released for pickup, delivery, or shipping. Prioritize multiple jobs and adjust production sequencing to meet deadlines. Maintain accurate job records and communicate promptly about file, equipment, material, or scheduling issues. Keep the production area clean, organized, stocked, and safe. Assist with training and supporting less-experienced production employees. Coordinate service requests for equipment problems that cannot be resolved through normal operator troubleshooting.
Requirements:
At least 1-3 years of experience in digital printing, commercial printing, copy-center production, or a related environment. Working knowledge of Konica Minolta production printers or comparable commercial digital printing equipment. Experience with print setup, paper handling, finishing, packaging, and quality control. Ability to read and follow detailed work orders and production specifications. Understanding of paper sizes, weights, finishes, grain direction, and common commercial print materials. Strong troubleshooting, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple jobs while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Dependable attendance and a collaborative, customer-focused attitude. Basic computer skills and experience working with digital print files and print-production software. Experience with CREO, Adobe Acrobat, or similar print workflow software is preferred. Experience with cutters, folders, booklet makers, or other finishing equipment is preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and move throughout most of the workday. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work safely around digital printing and finishing equipment.
