Applicants should have prior experience with training others.
Purpose of Position:
The 2nd shift GAPP (General Associate Premium Pay) Trainer will assist in training assembly line associates and to open boxes and components for Assembly lines. They will also stage WIP (Works in Progress) racks and components for Assembly lines, move, and empty WIP racks following all MTNA policies and procedures. Essential Job Functions Containment Stage, move, and empty WIP racks Attend trainings and training activities Training of Assembly line associates Assist in keeping work-center stocked to minimize associate downtime Maintain assigned 5S areas including cleaning up work area and properly disposing of trash and recyclable materials Assist Assembly technician with line efficiency improvements Perform other necessary activities need to help lines achieve targets Open boxes and components for Assembly lines Complete all assigned tasks safely, accurately, and on time Other duties as assigned Experience and Knowledge High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in manufacturing and quality focus preferred Skills Regular and prompt attendance Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Excellent time management Ability to follow written, spoken, and visual directions Ability to learn new skills Strong organizational and presentation skills Stand/walk at least 8 hours a day Bend, stoop, or kneel Push/pull 25 to 30lb. with moderate frequency Overtime may be required
