The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires proficiency with MIG welding and the ability to read and interpret drawings. This role does include a quarterly profit sharing bonus on top of hourly rate. Duties Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements. Assemble and fabricate metal structures. Execute pipe threading tasks with precision to ensure proper fit and function. Utilize plasma cutting equipment for shaping metal components as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines. Occasionally help other departments as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with welding and fitting duties. Previous experience with handrail fabrication preferred but not required.
