The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, work well in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in producing quality work. This position will work closely with the Powder Coating Supervisor and other internal departments to help ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Safely and effectively work in a fast-paced production environment. Operate a forklift safely and effectively. Operate blasting equipment in a safe and effective manner. Assist the Powder Coating Supervisor with scheduling powder coating needs for the shop and outside business. Assist with preparing materials and equipment needed to complete jobs efficiently. Monitor supplies and notify the appropriate supervisor when materials or supplies need to be replenished. Assist with preventative maintenance of powder coating and blasting equipment. Report equipment problems or maintenance concerns to the Powder Coating Supervisor. Assist in ensuring finished work meets quality standards and the expectations of internal and external customers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with internal departments at Separation by Design to support production needs and maintain an efficient workflow. Follow all company safety procedures, operating procedures, and quality standards. Qualifications and Skills Previous powder coating, blasting, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred, but not required . Ability to operate a forklift safely; certification or willingness to become certified preferred. Ability and willingness to learn powder coating and blasting processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with a manufacturing environment.
