Job Summary:
Assist production area supervisor by labeling and preparing packaging materials, dispensing raw materials, dispensing finished product into said packaging materials, and preparing packaged product for shipment. Production personnel will also be charged with pulling orders from stock, cleaning instruments and equipment, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse, and assisting production area supervisor with various tasks, as necessary. Willingness to do repetitive work, ability to follow established safety procedures, and attention to detail is required. Ability to lift at least 56lbs necessary. Prior knowledge and experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Personal responsibility to take initiative on tasks as need and observed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Labeling & Preparing packaging materials Dispensing finished product into packaging Preparing packaging for shipment Pull complete orders Cleaning Following GMPs and safety rules
Required Skills/Abilities:
Forklifts & other motorized PIT equipment Basic computer skills
Education and Experience:
Minimum post high school "associate degree," "bachelor's degree," "professional certificate" required. Prior warehouse experience a plus. Prior knowledge and experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks required. Experience with Quality or In-Process testing a bonus Prior experience with materials batching preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing. Able to stand, squat, bend. Must be able to lift up to 56 pounds at time.
Schedule:
Mon - Fri, 10a-6:30p Overtime as needed
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
