Job Summary:
We are supporting a leading manufacturing and FAA-certified repair facility seeking a Bench Mechanic to join their production team. This is an entry-level, hands-on role in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, following detailed processes, and contributing to high-quality components. The position focuses on cleaning, testing, inspection, and basic finishing of engine components, with long-term growth into fabrication and repair. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or hands-on environment preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools Valid driver's license Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Ability to pass FAA-regulated drug screen and background check Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience reading blueprints or technical instructions Exposure to inspection, testing, or quality processes FAA A&P certification (strong plus) Experience with bead blasting, polishing, or finishing work Prior experience in regulated manufacturing environments Day-to-Day Responsibilities Perform air and water pressure testing on various components Operate cleaning lines and prepare parts for processing Conduct visual inspections using fixtures and quality standards Perform bead blasting, polishing, and basic finishing work Follow detailed routing instructions and technical documentation Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards Assist with packaging, shipping, and general production support as needed Maintain proper handling and labeling of materials, including hazardous materials Physical & Work Environment Manufacturing / production environment (FAA-regulated) Standing, walking, and repetitive motion throughout shift Lifting up to 25 lbs Exposure to production equipment and cleaning processes Company & Culture This organization is a growing manufacturer.
