Job Title:
Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a Production Worker in the state-of-the-art 700 Building, where you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of magnet wire products. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire production process, from handling raw materials to ensuring the quality of the finished product. This role is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities Handle raw materials to prepare for production. Feed raw wire into the production line as required. Understand specification sheets to set machines when needed. Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues while monitoring the HMI touchscreen for quality assurance. Pull enamel samples during the process and document updates manually. Use an overhead crane to move finished spools of wire. Operate a forklift to store finished products in the warehouse. Essential Skills General labor experience. Machine operation skills. Forklift certification. Quality inspection capabilities. Assembly and production expertise. Ability to read, write, and understand written work orders in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong tenure at previous employers. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. Comfort with heights and working on grated stairs to the 2nd floor. Willingness to be trained on a forklift. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or construction experience. Ability to work independently and multitask. Available Shift & Pay Day shift: 8am - 8pm, 2/2/3 schedule // $21.11 Night shift: 8pm - 8am, 2/2/3 schedule // $22.36 Why Work Here? Work Environment The 700 Building features a temperature-controlled and clean environment, resembling a clean room. You will be working with automated, continuous production lines that require attention to detail and self-motivation. The building supports Toyota Automotive and demands high-quality standards. Shifts are available from 8 AM to 8 PM or 8 PM to 8 AM on a 2/2/3 schedule, with opportunities for advancement based on performance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.11 - $22.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
