Troubleshoot basic machine issues and escalate complex problems. Pull in‑process samples and document required data by hand. Inspect products using visual checks and basic measuring tools. Use overhead cranes to move finished wire spools safely. Operate forklifts about 15% of the time to move materials and finished goods. Follow detailed quality specifications supporting automotive‑grade standards. Maintain a clean, controlled work area and follow contamination‑control procedures. Work safely at all times, including when using stairs, cranes, and forklifts. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs during 12‑hour shifts on a 2/2/3 schedule. Support general production tasks such as packaging, labeling, and preparing finished spools for shipment. Collaborate with team members while also working independently with minimal supervision. Assist with line changeovers, setup adjustments, and routine housekeeping. Required Skills Experience in hands‑on labor roles such as manufacturing, warehouse, or construction. Ability to read and understand work orders and documentation in English. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during 12‑hour shifts. Ability to work safely and independently with minimal supervision. Reliable work history demonstrating strong attendance and tenure. Willingness to learn forklift operation with employer‑provided training. Ability to multitask and stay productive in a continuous‑flow environment. Available Shift & Pay Day shift: 8am - 8pm, 2/2/3 schedule // $21.11 Night shift: 8pm - 8am, 2/2/3 schedule // $22.36 Why Work Here? Employees benefit from a clean, modern, and highly automated facility that is expanding rapidly and creating significant opportunities for career growth and advancement into leadership roles. The organization supports strong financial growth through competitive pay progression, regular increases after conversion to full-time employment, and weekly pay once fully hired. Team members enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, 11 paid holidays, paid breaks while on-site, and paid vacation days after a short period of full-time service. A structured attendance recognition program offers additional incentives for reliable performance, and the growing customer base in a strong, stable industry provides long-term job security and the chance to learn new technologies and processes. Work Environment The role is based in the 700 building, a new, highly automated production area that closely resembles a clean-room environment in terms of process and cleanliness. The facility is temperature controlled, very clean, and less industrial in feel, with a strong focus on attention to detail and self-motivation. The production lines are fully automated and continuous, performing all critical steps such as shaping wire to the correct diameter, coating it with enamel, curing it in vertical ovens, and winding it onto spools. Operators primarily monitor the process, handle materials, and ensure quality rather than performing heavy manual labor, making the work relatively easy on the body. The environment supports demanding automotive customers, including on-site customer presence, so professionalism and adherence to strict quality standards are essential. Work is performed on 12-hour shifts using a 2/2/3 schedule, with a first shift from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and a third shift from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as using grated stairs to access upper levels. Employees use overhead cranes and forklifts to move raw materials and finished spools of wire, and they must follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate work attire suitable for a clean, industrial production environment.
