Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Feed Mill Worker and become a vital part of the food production and agricultural supply chain! In this role, you will operate heavy equipment, assist in manufacturing processes, and ensure the smooth running of feed mill operations. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to delivering high-quality feed products that support farming, livestock, and food processing industries. We're looking for motivated individuals eager to learn, work efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as mixers, conveyors, grinders, and pellet mills to produce animal feed. Load and unload raw materials and finished products using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly. Assist with the maintenance and minor repairs of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime. Conduct routine inspections of the mill area, ensuring cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper storage of materials. Follow all safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on manufacturing equipment. Experience in manufacturing or food processing environments is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus. Familiarity with farming, agriculture, or food production processes enhances your effectiveness in this role. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including grinders, conveyors, pellet mills, or similar machinery. Strong attention to safety protocols and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
