Job Description

MET Manufacturing Group is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team. This hands-on manufacturing role involves performing a variety of hand labor, part-forming, assembly, and production support activities while ensuring quality standards are met. In addition to supporting daily production operations, the position requires reading manufacturing prints, maintaining accurate production documentation, following document control procedures, and communicating effectively with team members to support quality and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to effectively balance hands-on production work with basic administrative and documentation responsibilities. What You'll Do Perform hand labor and part-forming operations using hand tools, fixtures, and production equipment. Assemble, sort, inspect, package, and move materials throughout the manufacturing process. Read and interpret manufacturing prints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications. Maintain document control procedures and ensure the latest revisions of drawings and work instructions are being used. Complete production paperwork, job travelers, and quality documentation accurately. Conduct visual inspections to verify parts meet quality standards. Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and production personnel regarding production status or quality concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality requirements. Assist with other production-related activities as needed to support customer delivery schedules. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, assembly, hand labor, or production experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing prints, and work instructions. Experience with production paperwork, document control, or quality documentation is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Flexibility to work overtime when needed. Why MET Manufacturing Group?
