Job Description

Job Title:
Production Associate- $18 - Hiring ASAP!! Job Description The Production Associate supports a clean, efficient manufacturing operation by packaging finished goods, preparing products for shipment, and supplying the production line with materials. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, ensuring accurate labeling, and assisting with the receipt and handling of raw materials in a fast-paced, first-shift environment. Responsibilities Load finished goods into boxes and ensure all packaging meets quality and safety standards. Palletize finished goods, consistently lifting up to 50 lbs, and stage pallets for shipment in an organized manner. Supply the production line with empty cartons to be filled by automated filling machines, ensuring continuous production flow. Inspect labels and packaging for accuracy, placement, and quality, and correct issues as needed. Assist with receiving raw materials, including unloading, checking, and staging materials for production use. Handle materials safely and efficiently while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Operate or assist with basic production and packaging machinery as needed, following all safety procedures. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including adherence to all hygiene and cleanliness standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues promptly. Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures throughout the shift. Essential Skills At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in a production or factory environment. At least 1 year of experience in packaging, palletizing, machine operation, or general factory labor. Ability to consistently lift and move up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Experience with general production and assembly tasks in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with material handling and general labor duties. Understanding of and ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Basic ability to operate or support operation of production and packaging equipment. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling and quality packaging. Reliability and consistency in meeting attendance, safety, and performance expectations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift experience or certification is a plus. Previous material handling experience is a plus. Mechanical aptitude or being mechanically inclined is a plus. Prior machine operating experience is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-focused, production environment. Willingness to learn new tasks such as batch making, machine operation, or forklift operation for future advancement. Why Work Here? Employees must follow GMP-related hygiene and attire requirements, including wearing a hair net at all times, maintaining appropriate facial hair standards, and refraining from jewelry, piercings, hats, fake eyelashes, and nail polish while on the production floor. The workplace emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork to ensure a high-quality product and a positive day-to-day experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
