Frantz is seeking a motivated and dependable Janitorial Team Lead to oversee cleaning operations within a manufacturing and production environment. The Team Lead is responsible for supervising janitorial staff, ensuring cleaning standards are met, maintaining safety compliance, and serving as the primary point of contact between employees, management, and the customer. This position requires a hands-on leader who is willing to work alongside the team while ensuring all assigned areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Team Leadership Lead, train, and motivate janitorial team members. Assign daily work tasks and ensure completion according to schedule. Conduct quality inspections and provide coaching as needed. Assist with training of new employees. Communicate customer requests, priorities, and expectations to team members. Address employee concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary. Oversee and assist with cleaning of: Plant Restrooms Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and partitions Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other restroom supplies Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors Empty trash and replace liners Clean high-touch surfaces with approved disinfectants Ingot Restrooms & Shower Houses Thoroughly clean and sanitize shower stalls, locker areas, sinks, and fixtures Remove soap residue, mineral buildup, and debris Replenish all restroom and hygiene supplies Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors Empty trash receptacles and maintain overall cleanliness standards Break Rooms & Common Areas Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, chairs, and high-touch surfaces Clean interior and exterior surfaces of microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, and other appliances Empty trash and recycling containers Sweep, mop, and maintain floors Restock paper products and cleaning supplies as needed Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Must be able to work safely in an active manufacturing/production environment Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and excellent attendance required Previous janitorial experience preferred, but not required Must be able to work in varying temperatures and industrial conditions Must be comfortable working around production equipment and noise Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) While working in production areas, the following PPE is required: Hard Hat Safety Glasses Metatarsal Boots All required PPE is provided by the company.
