Production Operator
  • Night Shift Full-Time | Monday
  • Thursday, 6:00 PM
  • 4:30 AM An additional $1.
00/hour shift differential will be available upon transitioning to night shift. About the Role Holland Colours Americas Inc. is seeking dependable and safety-focused Production Operators to join our team on the night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the production process by mixing raw materials, monitoring equipment, ensuring product quality, and safely packaging finished goods. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. What You'll Do Production & Quality Follow batch ticket instructions and process sheets to mix pigments and raw materials Monitor feeds, speeds, temperature, and color consistency throughout production Inspect products to ensure quality standards and prevent contamination Assist with spraying processes as needed Accurately document production and batch data Packaging & Material Handling Properly screen, weigh, package, label, and move finished products Ensure accurate documentation of all finished goods Monitor and request packaging materials as needed Deliver completed materials to finished goods inventory Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements Wear appropriate PPE, including respirators when required Maintain compliance with
ISO 9001
2015 standards Work safely with molten materials in a hot and dusty environment Facility & Team Support Maintain a clean work environment (significant portion of the role involves cleaning to prevent cross-contamination) Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Support Holland Colours' person-driven culture and continuous improvement efforts Operate material handling equipment (e.g., tow motor) if qualified What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Ability to read, write, and perform basic math Strong attention to detail and quality standards Positive attitude, integrity, and dependability Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines Good communication and problem-solving skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 200 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent bending, stooping, and cleaning (approximately 80% of duties) Ability to climb stairs and work at heights up to 65 feet Ability to distinguish colors for quality inspection Work Environment Manufacturing setting with heat, dust, and noise Exposure to molten materials Use of personal protective equipment required
