Job Description

Shift:
Start time 5 am ATTC Manufacturing, a Tier 2 automotive supplier, Established in 2000, ATTC specializes in machining brake drums, brake rotors, steering knuckles, carriers, and differential cases. Kaizen is a support department whose main goal is to assist with the continuous improvement process. The Kaizen team must be very flexible, adapt to change, be skillful with tools, and be knowledgeable about the production processes at ATTC. Our motto is "Making today better than yesterday and tomorrow better than today." This is achieved through the use of suggestions from Team Members, Jishuken activities, in house projects, scrap reduction activities, and white/yellow belt training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor / Direct / Support team members Safety / 5S / Quality focus Perform related duties as assigned or as situations arise Must be employed solely by ATTC Manufacturing Compensation same as production scale
Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Welding Plasma Cutter Chop Saw Drill Press Grinders Mechanic Tools Torch Reading Tape Measure (Metric & Standard)
Fabrication Experience Character Traits:
Positive, Cooperative, Can do attitude Desire to work "hands on" Understanding of Kaizen & 5s Self-motivated and organized Ability to translate others ideas into tangible output Work well with others Creative and inventive Excellent work history (eg: conduct & attendance)
